My name is Gavin St. Ours. I’m a writer, designer, and web developer. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, I’m now based in San Francisco, California.

In 2012, I published my first short story collection, Soothsayer in Aisle Five, and graduated with an MFA in Creative Writing & Publishing Arts from the University of Baltimore.

In February 2013, I began Dev Bootcamp in San Francisco to sharpen my software development skills.

I am interested in the future of the publishing industry, both in print and in pixels. I think a lot about books in the future. What will be the easiest, richest way for readers to enjoy books in the future? How can writers harness digital tools to publish stories and connect with readers? What does this all mean for the publishing world? The next few years are going to be exciting, and I want to experiment as much as possible.
